The AegisUrbis Hub is the cognitive core that receives machine-to-machine events from peripheral subsystems and distributes correlated information to the control room, mobile devices and backup services.
The subsystem is designed as part of the AegisUrbis operating picture rather than as a standalone tool. Field devices, local controllers and gateways send normalized events to the central hub, where they can be correlated with video, maps, access information and operational priorities.
| Layer | Role in the architecture |
|---|---|
| Field layer | Sensors, controllers, cameras or devices collect the operational signal close to the physical event. |
| Integration layer | Gateways and software connectors normalize events and expose them through machine-to-machine interfaces. |
| Supervision layer | The control room receives contextualized alerts, evidence and recommended response priorities. |
This structure improves response time, reduces duplicated information and gives municipal operators a consistent view of the situation across urban, industrial and infrastructure environments.
