The deployment model for AegisUrbis can be adapted to the level of control required by the organisation. A city, infrastructure operator or industrial district can choose a local datacenter, public Infrastructure as a Service cloud or a hybrid configuration that keeps critical workloads close to operations.
In the hybrid model, sensitive functions remain local: alarms, video evidence, Security Operations Center workflows and Edge AI. Cloud services host backups, disaster recovery, controlled remote access and non-critical dashboards. This avoids a rigid choice between local and cloud deployment and supports a more pragmatic distribution.
| Model | When it is appropriate |
|---|---|
| On-premises datacenter | When the client requires direct control over data, infrastructure and critical operations. |
| Public IaaS cloud | When the client does not want to manage local hardware and prefers scalable external capacity. |
| Hybrid cloud | When sensitive workloads must remain local while cloud services support continuity and auxiliary functions. |
The platform can be placed on private virtualised environments, managed cloud infrastructure or hybrid designs. The architectural decision is not only technical: it depends on data sovereignty, latency, operational continuity, cost and management responsibilities.
