Hybrid Cloud Deployment for AegisUrbis

AegisUrbis can be deployed in a local datacenter, public IaaS cloud or hybrid model, balancing data sovereignty, latency, resilience and operational management.

Hybrid Cloud Deployment for AegisUrbis

The deployment model for AegisUrbis can be adapted to the level of control required by the organisation. A city, infrastructure operator or industrial district can choose a local datacenter, public Infrastructure as a Service cloud or a hybrid configuration that keeps critical workloads close to operations.

In the hybrid model, sensitive functions remain local: alarms, video evidence, Security Operations Center workflows and Edge AI. Cloud services host backups, disaster recovery, controlled remote access and non-critical dashboards. This avoids a rigid choice between local and cloud deployment and supports a more pragmatic distribution.

ModelWhen it is appropriate
On-premises datacenterWhen the client requires direct control over data, infrastructure and critical operations.
Public IaaS cloudWhen the client does not want to manage local hardware and prefers scalable external capacity.
Hybrid cloudWhen sensitive workloads must remain local while cloud services support continuity and auxiliary functions.

The platform can be placed on private virtualised environments, managed cloud infrastructure or hybrid designs. The architectural decision is not only technical: it depends on data sovereignty, latency, operational continuity, cost and management responsibilities.
